Personally, I am all for Twitter. I think it is a great way to get a stream of information that is both as manageable as you want it to be, and also personally relevant to whatever different parts of your life interest you. Feeds I follow include friends, Olympic downhillers, comedians, tech gurus, filmmakers and journalists. I routinely get my news through Twitter by seeing interesting things that people I trust are talking about.
