Turn Your Wallet Mobile with Google

At a Google media event yesterday, the company introduced Google Wallet, its new mobile payment system. The service will let people with certain smart phones pay for items in retail shops by tapping the phones against a payment terminal. Many other countries have already implemented services like this and have started to eliminate the use of credit cards — Google is now helping the US to catch up to this trend. Burson-Marsteller, and PR’s PR Problem

Last week, you couldn’t point your Web browser anywhere without hearing about the Burson-Marsteller Facebook-Google smear campaign debacle. Today, just one week from the initial reporting of it, the story seems to have all but disappeared.
